Jim Crofts

Jim is the 2012 & 2014 US FTR National Champion and currently resides in Ivor, VA.  He is retired from 20 years of service as a US Navy Submariner and has a very outstanding wife, Brenda.  They have one son, Daniel. 

Since retirement from service, Jim has been an avid competative shooter, starting in High Power.  He holds Master classifications in High Power Rifle, High Power Long Range and Long Range F-Class along with High Master classification for mid-range F-Class.  He crossed over to F-Class FTR competition 4 years ago and has been one of the most decorated shooters in the US.  He placed 7th, 12th and 1st in the 2009, 2011 and 2012 National Championships.  He also has finished 1st and 3rd in all the last two Berger SW Long Range Nationals.  He has been named the North State Shooting Club FTR Club Champion and Club Shooter of the year for 2011 and 2012.  He finished 1st in the 2012 Bushmaster Long Range Regional, 1st in the 2012 Remember the Brave Tournament 1st in the Defenders Match as Camp Perry and 1st at the 2012 Virginia Long Range Regional.
